I recently purchased an iRobot Roomba j7 7150 and received it in the mail 11/15. We noticed the last couple of days that the spinning brush on the side stopped working/spinning. We tried unscrewing it and seeing if there was dirt built up, replacing the spinning brush with the replacement that came in the box, rebooting it and nothing is working. The sensor that is reporting an issue has detected that the brush motor is using too much current to operate. Either the brush gears are worn and/or lubrication is needed to help lower the power demand of the brush motor. Check the opposite ends of both brushs for possible build-up of debris inside the two yellow bushing cups.
